It's good to have a measurement of your child's learning progress, but it's not used for anything competitive in high school.
Average MAP scores do not increase at all during any of high school, according to the norms.

I believe they have a final round of MAP in 9th grade, but it serves no real purpose at that point

Is it worth focusing on MAP-R and MAP-M scores in High School? Heard that those scores will not be used after getting into HS. Any opinions?
