Hokas look like orthopedic shoes.

Yeah, I didn't wear my On Clouds for running, they were my every day sneakers because they are slip ons.

Hated on clouds- felt flat and with minimal support.

Shoe color choices now are ridiculous.

On clouds feel a bit flatter faster than hokas, but look cuter.

I run in Cliftons and agree the treads wear off so quickly. I did some research and found that Brooks Ghost was comparable, so I have a pair on the way to try. I’m also trying the Altra Experience Flow, as I’ve had great luck with the Lone Peaks for walking and hiking. The only issue I’ve had with wear on the Altras is that the heel can wear out—I bought some heel stickers off Amazon, which works great and has really extended their life. I’ve done some running in the Lone Peaks, but they’re probably not as cushy as you’d like! I put Superfeet inserts in all of my running and hiking shoes.

These are brands with an endless variety of shoes. What kind of question is this? They both sell carbon shoes for example. Jesus Christ

My 6’4 50 yr-old husband wears on clouds all the time to run, but it is started to develop a little bit of foot pain. He went to the ortho and they told him to switch to hookas. More support and supportive of the impact of running as our bones and joints get a little older.

what are you doing with them? walking, exercise or running? YMMV with shoes, one size does not fit all.

I've worn Hokas for years. I'm looking for maximum squish. Don't care about arch support as I stick in my own. For the price I think Hokas don't last long. I see On Clouds on a lot of people and I'm due for a new pair of shoes.
