Can you send a check instead? Refinance?

Oh my gosh, that sounds so shady. I hope they're not trying to force a foreclosure. Report them to the FTC (assuming that still exists.)

There’s actually a Reddit thread of people all saying the same thing as you. https://www.reddit.com/r/Mortgages/comments/1jamfio/selene_finance_payment_problems/

Yikes. Never heard of something like that and it's clearly not your fault, but you better work to get to the bottom of it ASAP. Don't convince yourself that you might end up on the winning side of this weird glitch (where you get credit for mortgage payments that you didn't actually have to pay for). What's more likely is that somehow you end up in foreclosure due to no fault of your own. Document all your interactions. Save all your chats, emails.

Has anyone else seen this before? My mortgage was sold to Selene finance. I make payments online and it shows them as being successful but they never actually draft the funds from the account. When speaking to a representative they say they see the payment as being made but they haven’t received funds and at the same time the bank hasn’t rejected the payment attempt. One person suggested my routing or account number was wrong but they should still be getting information from the bank.
