If that is the typical writing skills of a Blair graduate who came up on that path I would say it is a path to be avoided. It is a very poor corner of the metro area and even on a pleasant middle class street, you're never too far away form a place you would never consider living.

Then you’re definitely better off with Forrest Knolls.
My neighbor works as a substitute teacher in both schools. She said that several years back, the schools were quite similar to each but now she prefers Forrest Knolls, especially for the lower grades where the number of rowdy students is much less.

Forrest Knolls is K-5.
The overall school climate at Forrest Knolls, especially for teachers is quite positive.

We loved Forest Knolls. Great community, involved PTA. Most teachers were really good.

We are looking to buy in Silver Spring.
One address is zoned to Forrest Knolls ES, the other to Montgomery Knolls. Children are 3 and 4.
The plan is to stay in public for elementary.
