Cat sitting, dog walking, grocery shopping and delivery if in walkable area

If she’s good with grabbing give, I’d pay someone to do social media outreach for my work or at least create graphics

Ways my now 13-year-old has made extra cash:
- Cleaned up debris in our yard after a storm, my husband offered her $50 minus every stick he found that she didn't pick up (it was a big storm)
- Clean out the refrigerator
- Clean out the pantry
- Clean out the coat closet
- Weed
- Sell her American Girl/Our Generation doll collection
- Sort and sell her Lego sets (has not done this one)

USPS does this for free. Pay her to clean your pantry and garage.

If you know anyone or could network friends who might have connections to an agricultural related job, there are many opportunities there, but would likely have to go live at the location to do it, so like a real summer job for 2+ months away.

If your kid did something to earn money in the summer, can you elaborate? Suggestions please! I don't think she can do baby sitting.

She could probably get a few yards to mow in the neighborhood, if you live in house development area with yards.

People might take sympathy on a young girl doing that hard work, and be happy to hire a female-own small business to mow also. Boys do it at that age. Cost about $400 in mower, weedeater, blower and accessories to get started though. You could finance her and then take a % of the income until you get paid back with interest.

Be a wonderful learning experience for her.

Can she walk dogs? Collect mail and bring in people’s garbage cans when people are away?

Pay her to mow your lawn?

You pay her to do jobs around the house you don’t want to do that aren’t part of her normal chores.

Like cleaning the windows or planting small plants or weeding or all the laundry, etc.

Chores around your home at that age.

At that age my son was a volunteer CIT (counselor in training). We paid him about $50/week, which was a bargain since he was saving us the cost of camp for those weeks.

Op here. Only of neighbor has a garden and she has an automatic watering system for her plants.

Mother's helper - I would be hesitant sending her to some random person's house. The few houses in our street have teen kids.

What job can a 12 year old do for the summer? DD says she wants pocket money and wants to do something during the summer that will get her money to buy things I refuse to buy.
