My kid is in 7th grade and already getting emails about using Naviance, I would imagine that the OPs kid should already have access.

There are several. Don't bet the farm on what they say.

Just understand that if your school average is 1430 then your 1500 not special. This is a huge problem for kids at top public schools. It is for privates as well but many of them have the full pay advantage.

Interesting. It was way too pessimistic in my son’s case, but that just confirms your “grain of salt” caution. As others have suggested, Naviance, Scoir, etc. are going to give you a better idea than some generic site.
