Same problem and it's from previous owner since I'm the only person (female) who uses it now. It's very strangely intermittent! I'm going to try the shaving cream thing and I also have some urine neutralizer spray cleaner that I will try and report back.

Do you have floor mats that need changing?
Do you clean the shower well?
Sewer gas smell would indicate plumbing issues, but a urine smell simply means something is getting urine stale. You don't do that "if it's yellow let it mellow" thing do you?
Use some bleach. Rinse it well. Then use some acidic cleaners such as Lime Away.
