Does your kid swim? A few trips to the pool will probably help get it out.

You can try massaging plain old wesson - or olive or canola or another oil - into the hair to comb it out (and that's only if it's an issue and is going to get a big tangle). Remember, you'll have to do a 2 lather rinse repeats to get all the oil out so don't put TOO much on!

But if it's not causing a tangle, I'd let it go - multiple hair washes, growing out, all will serve to get it lighter and then gone. And see if it really does glow in the dark, which would be cool!

Anything that will get it out fast could irritate the scalp or harm the hair. It will likely fade over time, just let it go.

If it's acrylic paint and you've tried shampooing it out, then I'd try massaging it out with a bit of oil.

Paint usually eventually washes out. As long as it’s not making her hair impossible to brush (leading to dreadlocks), I’d leave it. My kids always end up with splatters of paint in their hair.

Sounds amazing. I’d probably leave it. Maybe try nail polish remover?

I don't know. The paint accident happened at MIL's house; it's not my paint, I have no idea what's in it but assume they were making some kind of craft.

My child got glow-in-the-dark blue paint on her blonde hair, how do I get it out? It won't wash out.
