Not sure how it does as an ice coffee, but Starbucks instant coffee that comes in individual packets works for me for travel where there is no coffee maker.
My college aged daughter is SUPER picky about her iced coffee. She insists, and makes amazing coffees with Medaglia D'Oro. I buy it in bulk on Amazon (prices have gone up).
These Trader Joe’s cold brew bags aren’t single serve, but they make about a pitcher of iced coffee using big tea bags of coffee grounds. Pretty decent.
I've made iced coffee used the Cafe Bustelo instant espresso and they have been pretty decent. By the time you add creamer/milk and somesort of flavor, they aren't half bad.
I like the Mt. Hagan brand instant coffee for travel. I find the Starbucks instant coffee to be gross. Ive never tried iced though so it's possible you need to add hot water.
Starbucks used to make some that were basically powder packaged in stick form that were decent but its been a long time since I bought them (also for travel) so jot sure if they're still around.
Are there any good instant iced coffees out there?
I’m looking for something for travel, so not a liquid or concentrate. Not sweetened. I usually just brew and chill regular strong coffee and then pour over ice, but this won’t be possible while traveling. I found some Nescafé type granules but are they any good? Any similar recommendations to try?
