So much for women that her club has 1 female coach and no female directors. And let's be honest, she has had plenty of opportunity to employ one with the amount of directors that have left in just the last 10 years. She can keep pushing these narratives, but nobody with an ounce of brains believes it that's been around her.

I'd push back on this. Licensed Female coaches are just hard to come by in this area.

Not one though? Can't entice a single female coach to come be a director? Currently has 2 male directors on the travel side. By my count, another 11 male directors have been employed and left/been let go in the last 7 or so years. "Leads" an organization that holds female only licenses and can't get any of them to come over as coaches?

She doesn't value women coaches because if she did, she would have them in her organization.

Honestly, who cares? It's a smaller club just minding their business doing what they do. If we were talking age groups having six teams deep, competing for national titles, with players doing outside trainings seven days a week, and maniac parents on the sidelines then yes there would be more opportunities. They are not that.

I think it’s fair. They are smaller and there is room at the top. They do demote kids too.

Since Lula was forced to take a step back, it's gotten better. But they're basically a feeder club to SYC and Alexandria these days. You're always going to be at the mercy of your top couple players leaving every season.

I never hear anything bad about LMVS. I think as kids develop, they tend to look at the bigger clubs if they can make their top teams, but if it is your local club and you are just starting out then it should be a good situation.

They have 2 teams. Right now the 2010 ECNL RL boys group has Coach KB, who also doubles as the Director of Coaches. Quality coach! They also have a 2nd team but I don't know the Coach. LMVSC does promote and demote from within, so if your kid is good/ improves a lot, he could move up to the ECNL RL squad. The club has good communication and good field space. The club does offer some good extras (mental health and fitness training), but sometimes that is not offered/ available for every team. (i.e sometimes the 2nd teams do not get the same opportunities, which is normal for all clubs.)

What age group?
It’s a small club w pockets of excellence and pockets of squander.
You can have a great coach w a great small club feel (small family feel even) or an unlicensed coach/ parent coach where you will spin your wheels for a few years until you realize you’ve wasted your time.
Also, what are your aspirations for your player?
