AIM / AMP7 student. It's also good score for a 7-9 th grader doing very well in Algebra, not very high for hyper acceleration to algebra at a young age, where you need to have runway for many years or higher leve math ahead.
It's hard to say whether they are at a (temporary) plateau (which is fine!) or hungry for more exposure to next level concepts.
What does your kid think about class. Too easy? Just right? Successful but stressful?
Have you done any outside exposure, like working ahead in IXL / Khan / Alcumus / AoPS? I have free lessons, videos, and practice problems. That's the obvious thing to try.
Some kids are very good at learning in class but unmotivated or unaware to look beyond things outside of class. Try some more exposure and see if kid is interested and able. I kid at that score level should be able to grasp at least some of next level algebra and geometry with independent learning.

Nice humble brag, PP. Your child is already in the 99% percentile with scores at the same level as my fifth grader. It likely means that they're not understanding higher end concepts that haven't been taught yet -- no surprise unless you're doing more advanced work outside of school (like my DD).
OP here. No, it wasn't a humble brag. I was worried that my kid did not learn anything this whole school year if they went down a few points. DC should have been in Algebra IMO but was stuck in AIM. DC did not do any outside Math besides what was taught in school. DC stopped doing Khan Academy online and I was upset that this was the result.
Next year, DC will have Algebra in 7th grade. How can DC supplement outside school in 7th?
Hey Tiger Mom, just chill. Very few kids are doing Algebra in 6th. If you care so much because you’re clearly that type of parent, do your own research on how to get your child ahead through home enrichment. But stop worrying about a score that’s at 99% level for your grade.

This is my 3rd grader’s score range. Any ideas for resources that can help with this more advanced work that your 5th grader is using now?
