I’ve heard from many men that a woman’s job or income isn’t that important. The most important is looks, sex, and if she is good at cooking and would be a good mother.

Yes and no. I care that he makes enough to care for himself but I don’t care if he makes 100k versus 300k.

I think only really poor or really rich guys don't care. The rest may say they don't care because they think it makes them sound really rich online, but they actually recognize that more money tends to mean a better life.

DH here: obviously there are exceptions to every rule, but it is a good rule of thumb that for most men a woman’s income is a second-order kind of consideration, falling behind attractiveness, personality, etc. It’s obviously a nice to have, but it’s also a trade-off to some extent if the woman has a super intense job that will make it harder to have a relationship.
