What is the difference between disabilities and people of color in terms of what’s acceptable assistance? Neither group can control their disability/color. Both groups are traditionally discriminated against.
I think you meant "historically" - there's no "tradition" of discriminating based on disability or skin color. Regardless, focusing on merit alone (rather than discriminating to fix historical injustices) should solve for any discrimination going forward.
Dude, if we focused on merit alone, president, VP and the entire cabinet would not be where they are now. We should fight the real DEI, under which undeserving white people (mostly white men actually) manage to get in front of the line.

the coffee shop that employs people with disabilities seems like a noble enterprise, but BLM was exposed as a con where the founders made off with millions of dollars - that was my point.
