I’d think they had to mean NCSSM, UNC spreads the wealth too much to be anything else.

I saw some of the results...you saw a lot of MIT, RPI, Northeastern, Lehigh, Michigan, NYU, Purdue. Not sure why having a big percentage go to the in-state school UNC would be surprising. TJ students here love UVA. Others choose to go elsewhere. I'm not sure what the point of the OP is?

Definitely not Enloe! I'd say they get maybe 20% into Chapel Hill and probably closer to 15%.

Yeah, I only know research triangle schools. Curious what OP meant.

With a tuition grant no less, it’s a gem.

Why you wouldn’t call NCSSM a magnet?

My kid went there. I guess it technically is, I just don’t think of it as one due to boarding and only 11/12. Honestly never thought about it until now.

Magnets also have a more diverse student population with different abilities to go to certain colleges.

What school?

North Carolina magnet school.

This year only 15% got into T20 or T5 lacs.

Advantage of going to a magnet school diminished.

Although they have 50% graduates matriculate to NC Chapel Hill, and 21% to NC state. Chapel Hill is a decent school.

I think TJ is in decline as well, but not sure.
