Paris is also hot. It’s in the 80s already, July will be miserable.

6 days is not enough time to properly enjoy a vacation.

Amsterdam is perfect. Day trip to Haarlem. Day trip to windmills - long bike rides etc.

If you like museums 6 days is not too long in Amsterdam. There or Copenhagen.

We are thinking of Amsterdam - is 6 days too long? A day trip or two is possible, but we want to stay in one hotel the entire time. Where else would you go? Heat is an issue, so we do not want to go to southern Europe. All ideas welcome!
