Hike the Slieve Donard, Mourne Mountains from Tollymore Park, near Newcastle. The scenery- heather, rock walls, view to the sea- all so beautiful.

New grange and Book of Kells at TCD are our top 2.

We did a bus tour of the Ring of Kerry in order to avoid having to do the drive in a rental and it was a great choice, but the highlight was a stop we made along the way to see a sheep dog demonstration on a local farm. We got to learn all about how the dogs are trained and see them in action herding the sheep. I’m sure kids that age would love it as much as we did.

Titanic Museum was a lot of fun—exceeded expectations. I also liked the botanical gardens in Belfast.

My kids liked the Irish Museum of Country Life. The cafe was good too.

Second a visit to Cliffs of Kerry. Way less crowded and more impressive.

We have a long 2 week trip to Ireland/Northern Ireland planned for July. My itinerary is pretty set, but as I work on the final tweaks wondering what your top suggestions are to do with teens and tweens. My kids are 14 and 11. Just want to make sure I am not missing anything that was particularly loved by that age group and/or any unusual suggestions I might not have seen on the typical searches. Anything not worth the time/money? Also- trying to keep it broad/generic so it could be helpful to others planning their own trips.
