$168 with coupon at cvs. Goodrx had a coupon for $108, but it did not work at the pharmacy (vaccine not covered🙄). Free with insurance.

Many countries have more generous medical leave and public health system/safety net. So if we want to follow their lead, why not make those changes, too?

Why make it so those of us who need the vaccine have to pay out of pocket? Just another way to increase prices for the middle and lower class while enriching T and friends.

Well, the meetings about the flu vaccine were cancelled. I don't know if the ones for COVID were also cancelled.

Vaccines have to be developed long before the distribution date, and the Trump admin has cancelled the meetings and planning that would normally take place.

For example, the virus needs to grow in egg whites for a long time. Maybe six months? Last I knew, that process had not been started. If true, that would mean there is no to little vaccine.

My PCP sis said that most adults will be able to qualify because they are either 1) overweight, 2) have high BP, 3) smoker or former smoker, or 4) mental disorder such as depression.

We will get whatever vaccine we can get. I have a child with an autoimmune disorder and there is no way we are not protecting her, all of us who live with her.

We don't know yet.

I got one a week ago. I do have two underlying conditions, but god knows how available it will be.

Not clear I would pay for the old 2024-25 vax. The variants have moved on. I would rather have vax based on the one in China orva mix compared with what is planned.

So for those of us who want the new dose (not booster) in the fall and we don’t meet the new criteria, we’ll have to pay out of pocket right? That is as long as the existing vaxx by Moderna and Pfizer can be used off-label and that it seems is still TBD pending a decision from the FDA’s NVAC.
