What is so bizarre? Just because your child doesn't belong here doesn't mean these are made up children. I personally know at least 7-8 kids that all have similar scores.

Not really bizarre at all. On most standardized tests parents are told what percentile their kid is on.

DD thought she did better on math than reading, and math is her stronger subject, so we're not sure how many questions she missed on math. It doesn't make sense that 1 missed question would drop her score that much.


I did not know this until afterwards that the score is not linear. To go from 600 to 500, you can typically miss 3-5. But then to go from 500 to 400, you can miss another 15-20. Your daughter likely did miss 1 question.
