As for "doing it right," I don't know. My arms weren't down my side, but they weren't fully outstretched. Were they supposed to be? I've never done one of these scans before. I just find it hard to believe that my body fat is that high (technically "obese" I think), with good muscle mass (which I believe because I see it on my build), but also have a normal BMI.
The machine suggested I lose 17lbs of fat, which would be insane.
I am hesitant to ever do this. I already obsess over the scale. If I knew how much actual fat was on me I’d probably be depressed for days!
