It's genetics so nothing works other than trying to cover it with makeup.

I have had a lot of success with Musely's red repair and red rescue lotions.

If you want something topical, ask for a prescription for RhoFade. It reduces redness for about 12 hours.

Green primers like Dr Jart are great and work surprisingly well.

Laser
Microneedling
Skinceuticals Phyto Corrective Gel

All expensive but all work. Very little downtime for the top two and numbing cream make them painless. Laser feels like a rubber band snap. Microneedling actually tickles with the numbing cream.

I spent six weeks of the winter doing wind sports on Baja. I got terrible wind burn. It’s basically just recently healed.

I cut out anything irritating like retinol and vitamin c. I used Avene products ( the thermal water and repairing balm at night), Dr Sturm calming serum (expensive but helped a lot), Dr Jart ceramide day cream, squalene oil and Erborian green CC cream. I avoided the sun as much as possible.

I did see a derm to make sure it wasn’t dermatitis, an allergy or rosacea. Just a bad burn that I kept inflaming by being in very windy conditions.

Depends on the cause. Is it rosacia or irritation?

Green primer. I like the Dr Jart Tiger Grass products because they have SPF in them and work really well to neutralize redness.

Any tips to lessen redness on the cheeks? Not too much though, as I like to keep some of the color. Thanks!
