What if he likes a school and it gets ranked 23?

It depends on what else your kid wants to do with their time, but a different class won’t matter all that much unless it’s AP Calc or something that schools are really looking for

This is a really a question for the college forum. But the answer is, all else equal it’s better to take the fourth year of Spanish, but many kids get in without that fourth year, and many others take that fourth year and don’t get in.

How important is it for a top 20 school to have 4 years of HS language. My son wants to take other classes and is not interested in taking another year Spanish.
