The shade on a table lamp has gotten stained and I want to replace it.
The lamp plus shade cost about $400 when I bought it 5 plus years ago.
I measured the shade, and I believe it is a silk shantung material.
I found a silk shade same size on Wayfair for $35. And I found one on Lamps Plus for $240.
What is the difference?? They list the sale
dimensions and material.
Given the price of the lamp, both prices seem off - one too low, one too high.
Can anyone school me on what to look for in a decent quality lampshade?
