Here is pale queen Cate Blanchett in some sleeveless styles. She has very cool coloring which look great in icy blue, mulberry, silver, and true white:

I'm white-Asian with really pale skin that reddens in the sun, and after years of bemoaning the same thing, I've decided to embrace my paleness. I think my skin is neutral? My veins look blueish-green. I notice that rich, dark colors contrast well with my skin. Navy blue and deep red are great, for example.

But alas, my favorite colors are pink, peach and light blue. So I wear those too, but I'm not sure the peach does anything for me.

I think I look awful in white or black.

I’m pale and I cannot wear Easter egg cord.

Again, that all depends on your skin's undertones. If you're a True Winter, you're right. If OP isn't, it'll be slightly off

Embrace the pale skin! Just find colours that work for you.

As a PP mentioned, the specific colors that will look best with you will depend on your undertones, hair and eye color, etc.

I will say that Navy strappy tops/sundresses seem much more flattering against my bare skin than black. I also find that having a noticeable amount of jewelry helps to brighten things up. I stick to gold tone and I think earrings and a necklace help the most. Some ideas below.

Agree with all of this. I’ll also wear white tank tops with coral or turquoise colored jewelry. I’m pale and the key for me is a bright or shiny contrast somewhere.

OP, have your colors done. I used a service called My Color Guru, but I’m sure there’s tons of other companies both online and in the area. You’ll have both dark and light colors to choose from, but they will either be cool or warm, muted or clear. For example, I’m a deep winter, so I look good in cool, clear jewel tones.

I have been working out and am ready to show off my arms this summer (plus it’s nice to go sleeveless when it’s hot) but the complexion issue is blocking me because I feel so self conscious. Olive tones and darker look so much better showing skin. Anyway, I think I need to get over it and could use some encouragement. Would you suggest light pastel colors or darker? Would love advice from people who are not fashion and style challenged like me.
