If you have Kindle Unlimited, check out “ Walking in Switzerland's Berner Oberland: Easy Hikes in the Jungfrau Region.”

I’m the one who posted the earthtrekkers links. This was all I used when we stayed in Wengen about three years ago. I should add that we went up the Schilthorn and saw James Bond World. I thought it would be really cheesy but it was good. My husband took DS up Jungfraujoch. There are two grocery stores and we cooked a reasonable amount. Don’t love Swiss German food.

I would visit Murren, and hike down to Gimmelwald, which is adorable. Also go up to Piz Gloria.

Any kids? If so, what ages?

The Mannlichen Royal Walk and Panorama trail are obvious ones.

If you are ok with downhill hikes you could walk down into Lauterbrunnen from Wengen and/or walk along the floor of the valley at least to the interior waterfall.

Grutschalp to Murren, perhaps with a stop at Winteregg, is a lovely easy trail.

If you go over to Grindelwald there is a lovely fairly flat trail that runs through First (to Bachalpsee in one direction and to somewhere you can catch a meal or bus in the other, IIRC), and First itself can be reached by cable car.
