I thought I had a hormonal imbalance , and went to my doctor . I have normal estrogen , testosterone levels for a woman of my age .

When will society accept that woman come in all shapes and sizes and we all don’t look hyperfeminine .

All lies. 🤢

It is what it is.

When I see a fem-acting man, I assume that deep down, he probably thinks he knows more about being a woman than actual women. Fem men act like caricatures of women. It’s not only unmasculine and unappealing, it’s offensive.

Bottom line, men should act like men.

For sure the premise of this prompt is “off” but I think it promotes opinions. The prompt does its job. For all the people who obsess about gender (See Gender Wars (or place that in lower case) online) — there are many more Americans who don’t care. Don’t think about it. Appear in public however they want. This is America.

An aside: may be young, but I don’t even think abortion or reproductive issues are a thing any more. that was my mothers debate. Now we gots technology and medicine, thank G … we can phase out non crime related abortion procedures.

I have the luxury to not obsess about gender… and just obsess about my job pay / salary and investments and my children’s progress.

Not true subject line.

I am a masculine leaning woman. I like it!
I try to be “make up wearing feminine” but it’s only about once a month and I often don’t bother.

I am with a sporty crowd so I feel accepted or neutral. No one cares. I don’t want to be around people who care Men like me well enough. I actually don’t think about my gender very much at all. I think a lot of women are like this

I'm tomboyish. I feel it's easier to be a more masculine woman than a more feminine man. Now, it's a bit harder to get male romantic attention. But still I think it's easier overall.

Some men can't handle a woman who's more of a man than he is. Women resent a woman who skips the whole makeup and internalized misogyny thing.

Gatekeeping bullshit, mostly. Only men can be men (according to men). Women who think like men, act like men, and/or look like men are crossing that line, and need to be put back in their place, which is harder to do because "masculine women" don't play by the rules that serve men.

Feminine men may be mocked (or murdered), but they're not a threat to masculinity. A butch is a direct threat, and an awful lot of men are uncomfortable with that.

-looks femme, codes as butch

As a straight male, I MUCH prefer the company of or acquaintance/association with women who are “masculine” over men who are feminine.

I’m not homophobic, but I am put off by feminine-presenting men, be they gay or straight, doesn’t matter.

I would much rather have coworkers who were all female and butch lesbians or former college athletes or military veterans than a bunch of men who act and present in feminine ways. That creeps me TF out.

I don’t think it matters in careers or circle of friends. Being attractive to the male gaze is not “100% society”.

The patriarchy promotes and enforces male privilege? Feminine men are still men.
