I just finished this book and I'm still processing the bizarre story.

It's translated from Korean, and Han Kang, the author just won the Nobel Prize in Literature, and won the Man Book Prize in 2016.

It's a short novel, but I had to go slowly because there is a lot to process.

The main character, Yeong-hye, stops eating meat after reoccurring nightmares. Her family tries to intervene and things go from bad to worse. She also hates to be clothed, and has no embarrassment of her nakedness. The only one who remotely tries to understand her is her brother in law, but that is for his own artistic pursuits.

I'll stop there to avoid spoilers, but if anyone wants to talk about it, I'm open.
