Duh even the Trump clan isn’t stupid enough to think these actions will strengthen the economy. They are intentionally destroying it to redirect wealth into their pockets. Trump and the broligarchs see too much money floating around to everyone but them. Pensions and elderly retirement accounts? Those should be theirs as these people are old. They should just die. Education? Nope wasted money. Only the rich should be educated. The middle class needs to go back to the trades and the poor have no business being anything but poor.

Their actions are all about redistributing money back to them. Destroy the economy, lower interest rates, buy up things cheap, crypto.

TBH, I'm with OP. Yeah, I think he half-believes maybe this stuff would work, but his broligarch backers are heavily invested in crypto as well as the concept of networked states. This is what they want.

Listening to Navarro and Bessent et al. blather nonsense into his ears convinced him that it would work. Making a killing off of crypto is a nice bonus.
