Some players will get calls June 15th and after they were not expecting and can attend ID Camps after.

Multi-school camps could be worth it for rising Sophomores as coaches can put players on their early radar.

Most P4 schools already know what rising Juniors they want to recruit. Mid Majors pick up players who want to commit early on a then pick up the pieces at the turn of the year and then Jan. to March. Remember, these are for the wanted players, not players in the bottom half of their lists. After March, coaches prepare for the transfer portal which has been growing every year now. The few spots left are then filled after at all schools. Ivy League schools tend to wait til early Senior year along with the Academic DIII schools (SAT Scores!!!).

The above is why I say don’t waste your money if you are a rising Junior. Spend your money on the schools ID camp only where the coach has more eyes your player with Staff.

Good luck!

Curious if anybody is familiar with or has an opinion on whether the University of Colorado - Boulder camp that attracked multiple schools (e.g. 2024) is worthwhile if you are interested in going to Boulder. https://cubuffs.com/sports/2023/12/14/other-colleges-in-attendance

I think the Arlington ID camp is only for girls.

McLean has a big one in July. It is very well attended by coaches from a variety of schools.

NM used to help sponsor with his Futsal Academy. Only players from Union would be on the fields with College Coaches. I would not go anywhere near it if you are not part of McLean or Union but at the same time, since they are different entities, not sure how it will work, especially with NM out of the picture. Could still be a scam for anyone on the outside.

Might be worth doing one of these big ones if you are unsure of your level, and maybe your kid connects with a coach and can begin discussions if its D3. Otherwise these are a huge waste of time later in the recruiting process.

Just sign up for one. Most are run by a 2nd or 3rd party vendors and then you will be on distrubution list for many of them once you sign up for one. Take time to look at individual schools though too as some of those you need to fill out an interest inquiry before you can receive their pay to train summer and winter opportunities

I'm trying to put together a summer ID camp schedule with my kid and I was hoping for some DCUM help and maybe even creating a list that would be helpful to others as well

I'm looking for multi-school soccer ID camps along the lines of the Johns Hopkins camp that includes NYU, Vassar, Penn, etc.

My current list of options includes:

- 6/7 & 8 - Haverford, colgate, bucknell
- 7/10 & 11 - JHU, NYU, vassar, Upenn, St. Vincent, Brandeis
- soccer masters - a mix of high academic D1 & D3 including Ivy and NESCAC
- harvard (with MIT, amherst, brandeis, etc)

Hopefully someone can add to this list?
