My moms went up a total of 23% in 2 years (no cap) so 5% sounds good to me!

My parents went up 4.5% the first year and 5% this year. This was down from 6% the year prior to when they started living there.

I'd say 5% is about average.

We went from 4500 to 5600 at Brightview for 1 bedroom from 2020 to 2024.

Was between 10-15% increase at Sunrise the one year we've been there for assisted living.
