Subject: High School Feeder School and Selective School Question
Call the MySchoolDC hotline. They're a best resource. I have called them countless times with tricky questions.
But - generally, your kid stays enrolled at the current school unless you enroll them at a different school.

Subject: High School Feeder School and Selective School Question
How does it work with the lottery? My kid goes to DCI Middle, I would like him to apply to Walls and Banneker. If he doesn't get in, I want him to go to DCI highschool. How does that work with the lottery? Do I have to put DCI in the lottery or does he get in automatically and I just have to enroll him if he doesn't get into Walls or Banneker?
