so three of 2011 teams in MA made the round of 16 last year out of 10 conferences. That's pretty impressive.

2010 Bethesda made finals the last 2 years hope they make it again this year.

2009 VDA - I think they lost in PK shootouts?

2012 Richmond is a good contender to make the finals as well.

Seem like a good reps for our areas. Wishing them all the best this year.

Actually I think 2011 Arlington was the only team out of MA across age groups that made the final last year. 2010 Bethesda, 2009 PDA Blue and 2009 Penn Fusion made the finals out of NA conference.

None of the NC teams made the final

I guess I should have said if you are going to an ECNL showcase, you will be grouped with teams that have a similar record. This only applies to the regular season showcases.

You will not be grouped in that way for postseason ECNL tournaments.

Regarding tournaments in general, your question contains to many variables... it's impossible to know without know the level of your team, the tournament you are entering, the division you are entering, etc.
