The Guardian. Al Jazeera. NPR. But also: Just pay for the NY Times.

We use Apple News. We do not pay for Apple News. Most articles are free. We skip the few which require a subscription.

The advertising model on websites collapsed, so if you want news from real journalists, the journalists need to be paid. Ergo, pick two or three platforms and pony up. Otherwise, you are going to be left with propaganda and garbage.

Obviously it's not free and it is expensive produce quality news media. Try to at least get a subscription to a smaller local news source or these are all going to disappear very soon.

log in to your library system with your library card, and you can get access to many newspapers, including nytimes
