It's my guess that Boston might be the biggest job market.

I don't have enough knowledge of the schools to know placement records. But the Cleveland metro job market is not super healthy in my opinion. Schools always place better for specific professions like CS when they have healthy local job markets. I would feel differently about pre-med in Cleveland because there is a significant health care industry there and kids can reposition for medical school and residency.

W&M, BC as others have noted is an over priced mediocre school. Case Western is a good school but not in the same league as instate option W&M.

They may have taken a little too long catching up to the DS bubble. I'd stick to CS and double up on the math classes, if not a full double major.

I will assume that you are aware of W&M's new CS/Data Science school?

W&M is playing catch-up in a crowded (and successful) field so it doesn't have the reputation of some other colleges.

But it sounds like you are looking for a smaller environment so W&M would fit that bill.

If you don't want to be full pay, Case Western offers generous merit $, even if don't apply for financial aid. My kid was a accepted to case and was offered 31k per year without asking for $. Another bonus is that they dont have any supplemental essays!

OP here--DS is not interested in either. Northeastern for a few reasons but mainly both BU and Northeastern are too large.

No question, William & Mary. BC is a school for B+ catholics. It has an artificially high acceptance rate due to taking almost 2/3 of its class early decision.

No way is it worth the price difference.

W&M would be in-state. Either CS or Data Science major. Likely full pay at all. DS is amenable to all locations.
