But since they can’t just go to HYP by default they can be freer in their choices. So maybe one kid likes the mountains and chooses Middlebury. Another kid wants California and urban and goes to USC. And another might choose UT Austin for a southern school. This freeing up in choices should be a food experience
I don't think that is the reality. There was a suicide earlier this year. The competition got a lot more fierce over there at the Phillips. Mental well being is a serious issue for students in elite high schools.
