If the "East Coast city" is NYC, I'd wear a long black tie dress.

I’m looking for a dress for a black tie optional wedding being held in a large east coast city in August. I’m over 50, 5’3”, and for reference, my tops and jackets are xs, jeans 27 and pants 6p. Thinking petite dresses are my best option but so far haven’t found anything. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!
