My college student is exhausted from the semester. They are resting on the couch. We have a few trips planned. They can work after that.

Yea, adult life rarely presents a carefree 3 weeks with no responsibilities. It’s a magic time when you have a job lined up but don’t have to start for a bit.
OP, why don’t you go on a vacation with them, at least for one of the three weeks?
+1 DS just graduated, has a job starting in mid June, and is going to enjoy this last opportunity to be carefree for a few weeks (one week will be an extended family beach trip).
