Universities provide education, not home training. When I was a young adult, I certainly made some errors as a new professional, but no one has to tell me that I can't wear the same dress to the office that I wore to the club on Saturday. No one had to teach me how to show up on time. No one had to teach me how to answer the phone like an adult or to at least appear busy out of respect for my job and my boss. My mother made sure I knew these things before sending me off to college. Why are kids not receiving any life skills education at home anymore?

Putting a pause on student loan repayment for four years added to this attitude. They didn't save the money for when the payment mandates returned. Now the shock sets in that they have $500 less a month in disposable income.

It a very bad economy thanks to Trump. Companies are canceling internships for this summer, new IPOs are non existent, construction starts are close to zero, etc.

Do a better job hiring. Some of these students are outstanding.
That said, phones need to be restricted in school in work and in life to a large degree.
