The heroes of the liberation struggle are overwhelmingly the Black South Africans. My comment, however, was simply directed to the proportion of Jewish South Africans who were anti-apartheid activists in comparison to the rest of their white demographic cohort. Some estimate that the disproportionate representation was by as much as 2500%.

All to say, I'm not necessarily surprised that a white South African refugee may be both a racist and an anti-semite.
