No. Senator Murphy said this is largely what the elected GOP wants. They like the political expediency and think of democracy as a failed experiment. He works with them daily, so I trust him.

It’s sad, but better to know the truth. It’s up to us. The GOP will not save us from a Trump dictatorship.
