In my experience, there’s a lot of inaccurately assuming the identity of a poster (OP, PP, DP, etc.) simply because posters often don’t use those identifiers when replying to a post. Actually, I’m guilty of failing to use them consistently.

Separately, Jeff, wouldn’t you be extremely wary of providing database access to a rando poster offering “to help”. There are questionable posters in the political forum that rabidly attack others who are critical of Israel and obsess over doxxing them, hoping the IC is monitoring them, etc.

I programmed in Java for 4 years before switching to php so it’s been a while.

People's IP address change so this would have limitations. That poster should have reported the imposter to me and I would have dealt with them.
