I don’t think this is accurate. If so, why am I starving all of the time? I’m eating like 3500-4000 calories a day. Double portions and frequent snacking.
Go to the doctor and tell them this. Something is off.
Don’t listen to this poster. Nothing is wrong. Your body is recovering from birth and making food for another human being. Eat when you’re hungry. Don’t try to limit your intake.

Anonymous wrote:DH has always been very respectful but he said something I took very insensitive. I was eating and he said
“ wow..you’re eating again..all of that”. I do eat a lot and still have a good amount of weight to lose while breastfeeding our almost 2 week old. I don’t know how he intended it but it really felt insensitive and hurt my feelings. He insists he didn’t mean anything by it.
OK, then, say.. yes, honey, I'm amazed too.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:OK. So tell him.... WTF! I know I need to lose weight, but I'm also breastfeeding my newborn. Give me some time
What is the problem, OP?
Except that it doesn't seem as if the husband meant anything in that line. He's just amazed that a breastfeeding women needs to eat that many calories. I was amazed at myself too!
