The people who became Al Qaeda were friends until they weren't. Al-Sharaa left Al Qaeda in 2016. He's not pro-Iran. Far as I can tell they are managing things in Syria way better than in Libya.

Exactly, well said. Maybe this change in middle east policy will be a precursor to long term stability instead of going to war and trying to force regime with all the countries that were on Netanyahu's list.

He is looking out for America, he is not being led by Israel with a leash around his neck, I am not a Trump supporter but he has my respect for this. It’s in America’s interest to not be at war with every country in the Middle East, it’s his time we looked after for our own country’s interests.
