Don’t get your hopes up about 2028, given the democrats’ abysmal approval ratings.

Cowards? No. Out of touch? Yes. They needed to listen to Van Jones.

They are NOT wimps. They will go scorched earth on MAGA.

The right is really good at creating bogeymen and 'whatabouting' to project their misdeeds on to others, but at the end of the day, we have to believe that facts and law will win out, even if it is slow.

Ultimately though, I am in the camp that Trump is in office til he dies and there won't be meaningful elections in 2026 or 2028.

I’m not so sure that elections are over. Apart from the blowhards posting here, most Americans are not pleased with Trump’s actions to date. As inflation skyrockets and stuff becomes too expensive or scarce, Americans are going to be angry about the economy. Hard to stay in power on a bad economy.

What is the plan if the economy takes off in a positive direction? What then?

They will embrace Trump’s legal boundary pushing and go farther. Politicians don’t roll things back, they just favor different groups, and take it out on the other side. Take as old as time. Just wait and see. It is a political arms race.

I disagree. Trump made swift judgment and punishment legal and New Age Dems will conduct war crimes trials just like Nuremberg. Remember only trump was given blanket immunity.

Oh come on. Bush and co launched a war based on BS. He’s painting, Cheney is doing god knows what and rummy dead.
