SAM is more like MSI Classic- very small local teams getting started in soccer. EDP is higher quality and has a billion levels, so teams are promoted/relegated depending on skill.

That said, your kid is 8 - pick the coach and group of kids he likes.

Ditto. The quality of EDP Futures is much higher. My kid played in both.

EDP futures is much much better. My rising U11 played it for two years and the competition is great. He’s a beast on the field and is ready for EDP in the fall! My older player played SAM Select and struggled making the transition to EDP at U11. So it depends on what you want for your player!!

The quality in edp futures is much better than sam select.

Is anyone familiar with these programs for U9 boys? Is there a notable difference? Both play games at the MD Soccer Plex.
