Madrid in summer will be miserable!

Berlin is my choice. Warsaw is nice but Berlin is way better.

Depends on what you are looking for. I would personally select Madrid, but I think these are 3 great cities and its a personal choice.

Berlin for sure if you haven’t been.

Just today returned from a glorious vacation in Poland. Unbelievable how many tourists are there, not just Americans. It’s one of the few safe countries left in Europe. Almost everyone is fluent in English.

The “Old Town” section of Warsaw is my favorite, especially when the weather is pleasant.

Wdym? Where is unsafe?

We 5 or 6 days in Berlin and just loved it. Kids were 17 and 19 at the time. Some of the sites/things we did: Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, a food tour, Berlin Wall/East Side Gallery, Museum Island, a River Cruise, toured Tempelhof Airport, Charlottenburg Palace, and a Computer Game Museum.

Not unusual for Europe, but the public transit was really easy. I became a fan of doner kebabs.

We're going to Madrid this summer, so I'll have a better comparison this fall!

Can you squeeze in any extra time? If you go to Warsaw a couple days in Gdansk would be a nice addition.....

Time of year is important. Warsaw would be a great choice for summer, Madrid for winter.

I have never been to Warsaw, but I hear it’s awesome. I have been to both Berlin and Madrid and love both cities, but Madrid is much prettier. To me, between those two cities, it would come down to the time of year. Other than the summer, I’d go to the Madrid. In the summer, it’s just too hot there.

We need way more information for any reasonable answer. What do you like to do? Kids traveling? Where have you been before?

Good grief.
