What does that mean?
It means less travel. In VA, the RL league is its own thing. There are more clubs because clubs can join RL without having an ECNL national team as well. In MD, the RL league isn’t its own thing- it’s just the second tier down. There are no RL-only clubs. So MD RL teams have essentially the same schedule and travel as far as the ECNL national teams.
