My daughter is 2013-Q4 (which is an important detail)
Option 1:
GA-Aspire
practice 3 times a week
distance 20-25 minutes
medium sized club
would probably play GA the following year with age group change
However GA has not announced any switch yet to SY
The boys side currently has ECNL
Option 2:
USYS National League
practice 3 times a week
distance 20-25 minutes
large club
more opportunities to play, however more drama involved with "reaching the top" (which we do not want a part of)
This club has ENRL and ECNL
Definitely know we will repeat U13 next year with SY switch
We have been to trainings at both clubs and like both coaches.
Goal: to continue to improve and have fun. We are not a D1 college player. wants to play in high school. Also does other sports (Rec). Does not want to be penalized for missing a practice or game for conflicts
Also to add: I know I'm not asking random strangers on the internet to choose the path for my daughter. Just curious on input from others
If you're kid is good enough they can always make the top team. So focus on the coach and program. Also, where is your kid going to get the most playing time?
