The US has still quadrupled the tariff on imports of all British cars. Mattel has nothing to do with a bilateral trade deal with the UK.
US auto companies are not too pleased with this deal.
"We are disappointed that the administration prioritized the UK ahead of our North American partners. Under this deal, it will now be cheaper to import a UK vehicle with very little US content than a USMCA compliant vehicle from Mexico or Canada that is half American parts.
