Anyone have feedback on Chinese at Hoover or the other MCPS middle schools? I understand there is a Chinese class for those who were in the elementary immersion program, and Chinese for beginners. If our kids grew up speaking some Chinese but weren't in the immersion class, will they be bored in the Chinese for beginners? Will the school give a placement test at the beginning of the year to determine placement? Thank you!
