Now nothing happens except maybe you get pulled out of class and an administrator says - don’t do that again, it’s dangerous.

I hate to say it but most of these kids are feral and COVID only exacerbated it they don’t want to learn period.

Anonymous wrote:This happened to my coworker's daughter in Loudoun County--the student sitting next to her grabbed her laptop and stuck the mechanical pencil in and it started smoking. Her daughter is very upset that she now has no computer for her SOLs and the school doesn't have any additional ones to lend. It is also somewhat of a paperwork nightmare for my coworker to get everything in order so she doesn't have to pay for the replacement (witness accounts, etc).
